legacy of family kitchens
At its heart is Grandma Huê , “Bà Huê”, whose recipes traveled from North Vietnam to the South, and eventually to Canada. As the second of eleven children, she became the family pillar: hardworking, selfless, and known for the care she poured into every meal. Her phở simmered for two days, always clear, nourishing, and full of love.
Another influence comes from Grandma Sau, “Ba Sau”. Where Grandma Huê brought patience and precision, Grandma Sau brought warmth and joy, the kind of spirit that makes people feel welcome the moment they sit down. Around her table, food was never just nourishment; it was comfort, laughter, and the feeling that everything would be alright.
Together, these two influences shaped the way our family cooks and eats: with care, but also with warmth.

Today, the restaurant is run by Khanh and his wife Hieu, who are finally bringing moms’ lifelong dream to life.
